Frequently Asked Questions

GETTING SET UP

How do I get started?

Head to tccp.coop/curbside and learn how to get set up. Then click the orange ‘Order Now’ button. You’ll be redirected to the Co-op Curbside platform. Confirm your home store by clicking on the store name in the top right corner (under the cart and right next to the login button), then at the bottom of the screen (not on the map) you can select to shop at either store. You will want to do this before shopping, as we have slightly different selections and your order will be erased if you change the store last minute.

How do I login?

You can only make a login if you are an owner and your contact information on your account is up to date. If you’re a co-op owner, enter your owner number, email address or phone number associated with your account. Then click ‘Forgot Password?’ to set up a password for your account. Choose how you would like to receive your temporary passcode. When you receive it, enter it into the platform and reset your password. If you are receiving an error that “the information doesn’t match,” you will want to check to make sure all your Owner information is up to date. The Curbside website, when creating an account, tries to match what you entered to what is on file.

Why should I login if I am an owner?

When you login, it will automatically apply your member number to your curbside orders. You can also look at past orders and shop right from items you have ordered (or picked up in store) in the past. When you login, you can see if you have any rewards or owner e-coupons to apply to your curbside orders.

What if I don’t know my owner number or phone number/email associated with my owner account?

Call the store’s main line to retrieve your owner number and other information before completing your online sign up for Co-op Curbside.

What if I don’t have an Owner number?

That’s OK! You can start ordering right away. When you go through the checkout process you will be prompted to enter your customer contact information for the order. This information will be what we use to let you know your order is ready or if we need to contact you about your order.

What does Co-op Curbside cost?

Co-op Curbside costs $5 per order. The cost will be factored into your grocery total.

PLACING MY ORDER

What’s available through Co-op Curbside?

We’ve launched the program with over 2,500 of our most popular items from all departments. We are adding more and more items as the program grows.

Are ingredients and allergen information listed in the Co-op Curbside platform?

Yes, for most products! If there is a product you would like more information on, please reach out to our customer service.

If I don’t see the item, I’m looking for in Co-op Curbside, is it possible to make a special request to be placed on the website?

Customers can request that new products to be added to Co-op Curbside through the comment form on our website, tccp.coop/contact. We will consider customer requests as we add more products over time. Special requests will not be factored into your immediate order. Please specify that which location you are shopping for, as Wedge Co-op and Linden Hills Co-op have different offerings online.

Can request an add-on on for an item not listed on the website onto my order?

Yes, however we request that you limit it to no more than 5 products. These can be written in the order instruction box at check out. We also request that you call Curbside directly at least 2 hours before your designated pick-up time, if you have any last-minute add-ons. That will allow us to time to navigate between orders and search for the products you want added.

As long as the product is available, we should be able to add it to the order. However, due to the time sensitive nature of Curbside and the frequency of orders that come in we cannot guarantee add-ons requested under the 2hr window of your pick-up time will make it into the order.

We will also add items in your order instruction to the website if it is something we carry in the store but don’t quite on our website.

What if I pick an item that’s out of stock in store?

We substitute out of stock items with the closest available alternative. If you have provided us a current cell phone number, we may try to reach you by text or call to discuss substitutions. When you arrive to pick up your order, we will go over your order and answer you may have about it and any substitutions we’ve made.

Why are some products available to order by quantity but sold by weight?

Some of our products in the online catalog are available to be ordered by unit (or quantity) but are sold by their weight. Bananas are a good example of this type of product. Individual bananas can vary greatly in size so they are sold by weight. In order to provide an idea of the price for these types of products we display an estimated price per unit in the online catalog.

The estimated price factors the current price per pound and the average weight of one unit. Because we shop your order after it is placed, we do not have the exact weight, and price, for those variable size items at the time you place your order. Once those items have been picked by fulfillment staff the exact weight and price is determined.

If you are unsure the weight of an item you are looking for, feel free to save an item instruction on that specific item with how many you are looking for.

If something is on sale in store, will that sale also be available on Co-op Curbside?

Yes! If a Co-op Curbside item is on sale, that sale will be available to you through the Co-op Curbside platform.
